[Ctyfc] Focus Group Opportunity - Soil Health & Regen Ag Practices

[Small Producers Initiative]

Hi all,

I apologize if you are also on the SPI email list and just received this announcement, but I'm trying to get the word out about our upcoming focus groups. 🙂 (New experience for me: we had a bunch of bots respond to our interest form!)

SPI is still looking for producers and farm/ranch workers to join us in conversations about soil health practices next week. We are hosting two virtual focus group sessions on Wednesday, May 11 at 6:00pm and Sunday, May 15 @ 2:00pm. The purpose is to learn what practices are currently feasible for small- and mid-sized producers, identify barriers to implementation, and explore what types of support could improve on-farm conservation. Sessions will be no more than 90 minutes long, and we will be providing a $50 e-gift card to those who participate. Young and beginning farmers are encouraged to join us - your voices are important in identifying how organizations and programs can meet your needs.

If you are interested in joining in the conversation, please let me know directly at smallproducers at txstate.edu. We are limited to 12 people per focus group but have plenty of spots as of now!
