Hello central Texas farmers,

USDA will soon be providing grant funding to reimburse some of your COVID related costs, including online sales platforms. Note this is for reimbursement only. This funding is available to small specialty crop producers, food processors, farmers markets and others. I’m guessing the applicant will be pretty simple but that may be a reach.

Covers reimbursement for certain COVID-related costs incurred between 1/27/2020 and 12/31/2021. (I don’t understand how you can request reimbursement for costs incurred after the application close date of 11/8/2021.)

Applications open: 9/23/21
Applications close: 11/8/2021

Requires DUNS number.
Min: $1,500. Max: $20,000
No matching funds required.

Visit the USDA Pandemic Response Portal <https://usda-prs.grantsolutions.gov/usda> for more information and application links.

Moving forward.. together,
Sue
