[Ctyfc] Upcoming Goat Husbandry/Milking and Cheese Making Classes on Local Manor Farm

Hello!

Our farm is leading 2 classes this spring that might be of interest to some
members of this group, and I wanted to share it here in case there's any
interest.

March 26 is our Go Get a Goat! Class that is designed for anyone interested
in dairy animal husbandry and milking (we'll of course be focusing on
goats!). Participants will receive a manual, lots of resources, and
hands-on opportunities to milk and view hoof trimming, discuss milk
handling, general health and talk about questions/concerns, etc.

April 16 is our cheese making class inside the dairy building and while
we'll focus on feta, it's a great intro to cheese making in general. This
class ticket can be bundled with the goat class for a discounted price.

Both classes are offered at Bee Tree Farm and Dairy where we've raised
dairy goats for over 10 years and commercially produced cheese for many
years. Feel free to pass this along to anyone who may be interested.
