Hey Farmers
The Central Texas Food Bank has some bulk food waste that could be good compost or livestock feed. I believe in the past we've worked with some pig farmers to take it, but it could also be useful to chicken farmers I think.
The exact mix varies throughout the year but currently there are a lot of sweet potatoes and cucumbers, and possibly some rice.
If you are interested in learning more please contact our Warehouse Manager, Jose Zamora (copied).
Yours,
Greg
