[Ctyfc] Hiring for a Farm Viability Coordinator

Hey folks!

Sustainable Food Center is currently hiring for a few positions (you can

to tell you all about one in particular - the Farm Viability Coordinator.

This role works directly with farmers, ranchers, and growers of all types
to offer on-farm business consultation and assessments. As the FV
Coordinator you will be working to support our growing supply chain work as
well as our farmers' market team as we grow our two weekly farmers'
markets. The position entails program and grant coordination, and we are
happy to provide training and professional development for these tasks.

I am looking for someone from our farming community to take on this role.
Ideal candidates will be very comfortable talking to farmers and ranchers,
know how to be respectful on site visits, love learning, are fairly
organized, and can work independently.

The position is remote with only occasional visits to farms within 150
miles of Austin (2-3 times monthly), and appearances at the farmers' market
(1-2 times monthly).

Starting salary is $40-42,000 depending on experience. SFC offers flexible
schedules and generous benefits including 100% coverage of health insurance
and 20 days of PTO annually.
