[Ctyfc] San Antonio On-Farm Demo - Next Friday 4/29

[Small Producers Initiative]

Hey y'all,

SPI is planning our FIRST EVER on-farm demonstration event next Friday, April 29 from 10am-3pm at the San Antonio Food Bank. Tickets are $15 and include lunch. We will do a farm tour of the Food Bank's main site with a focus on cover cropping practices, see a presentation about Soil Health Systems from Dr. Ken Mix, and NRCS will be presenting on their conservation programs. We hope this will be a great opportunity for farmers in the San Antonio area to connect on best practices and network with one another. This will be the first of several on-farm demos we are partnering on this year.
