[Ctyfc] ACC Agricultural Sciences Dept. Hiring Adjuncts for Spring 22

Hi there,

My name is Savannah Rugg and I am the Dept. Chair for Agricultural Sciences
at Austin Community College. We are currently searching to hire adjunct
faculty for the Ag. Sciences Dept. specifically for our workforce classes.
Workforce classes correspond with our Sustainable Agriculture Associates of
Applied Science Degree. These courses are designed to give students
hands-on learning experience and gain practical skills needed for a career
in agriculture.

ACC's hiring system is currently frozen because we are switching internal
processing systems, so I figured I'd start reaching out to any folks that
work in agriculture in Central Texas that may be interested in teaching
part time.

I have attached the Sustainable Agriculture AAS degree plan. The workforce
classes are depicted with the acronyms AGCR, HALT, GAME, and AGMG. I have
also attached the adjunct job description here with the required education
and work experience.

standards *Associate degree in* Agroecology, Sustainable
Agriculture, Soil Science, Animal Science, Plant Science, Agronomy,
Horticulture, Plant Pathology and/or other related agricultural science
topics, *and 3 years non-teaching work experience*; *or Bachelor's degree
in the above listed Agricultural Sciences*; or Master's degree in the above
listed
Agricultural Sciences. SACSCOC requirements may differ depending on the
courses taught within the discipline. For specific requirements by course,
