VRDNT Farm is hiring an Assistant Wash and Packshed Manager. We are just
starting our third year of production and are growing quickly! Come join
our team of passionate young farmers growing some of the finest vegetables
for our community here in Central Texas.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
VRDNT Farm is a female-owned and operated small farm growing flavorful and
colorful vegetables for Central Texans. We focus on bio-intensive growing
practices and are striving to optimize on-farm efficiency. We are currently
intensively cultivating 3.5 acres of diversified vegetables and are
distributing our vegetables through CSA weekly veggie boxes, wholesale
vendors and farmers markets. We are tucked away in the Lost Pines of
Bastrop, TX about 45 min East of Austin TX.


JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is full-time and reports directly to the Harvest and
Distribution Manager. This position's main responsibilities include
picking, washing, and packing vegetables. On a daily basis, you will be
working with the Harvest and Distribution Manager to pick and pack orders.
Given the dynamic nature of farm work, other tasks such as weeding and
planting may also be required at times. Applicants must be comfortable
working outside and possess the physical stamina to repeatedly lift up to
50lbs. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work quickly outside are
qualities that will make you successful on the job. Experience working on
vegetable farms is preferable but not necessary.

COMPENSATION
this position is: hourly, $13-$15/hr
